Whatever sector you work in, and wherever you’re based in the UK, this webinar will address these questions.

Hear from people based in 3 very different organisations about why they get involved with Health Information Week, what they do, and why they think it’s valuable.

Aimed at anyone who would be interested in finding out more about getting involved in Health Information Week.

About the trainer:

Liz Gardner (public library)
Liz Gardner is a Library Development Officer for Staffordshire Libraries working in East Staffordshire. Liz organises numerous health-related events in libraries throughout the year, the highlight of which is Burton Library’s Health Information Fair which takes place annually on the first Saturday of July.

Andy Hough (NHS library)
Andy is the Clinical Outreach Training Librarian for Coventry & Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust. He partners with colleagues in both NHS libraries and public libraries, offering a range of health literacy activities throughout the year. This includes Health Information Week events for health professionals, patients, and the public.

Helen Swales (NHS library / multi-organisational HIW activity)
Helen is Library Services Manager at Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust. Each year, the LCH library team work alongside colleagues in the other NHS Trust libraries in Leeds, the Public Health Resource Centre, public libraries, and third sector organisations, to deliver a #TeamLeeds approach to Health Information Week.
