LIHNN committee have organised a visit to two of Manchester's libraries. Join us for a tour and activity at the Manchester Poetry Library followed by a trip to the University of Manchester to see rare books from the Medical Printed Collections with Steven Hartshorne (Curator for Science, Technical and Medical Rare Books). Both libraries are based on Manchester's Oxford Road and are walking distance from each other.

Timings for this event will be confirmed once we have final numbers, but you can expect this trip to take most of a day starting at the earliest 10.30am and the latest 3pm with time in between visits for people to get lunch. Lunch is not provided but there are plenty of places to buy lunch near both sites.
