CILIP NW/LIHNN wider professional speakers programme - Kira Cox

Description:

This month is being led by Kira Cox. Kira will be speaking about how her department utilises social media to engage students, as well as her experiences of working in membership organisations in the third sector, and how this has lead her to role she has now within an academic library, whilst still focussing on the importance of the student experience.

The University of Liverpool Library has 17,000 Twitter followers and almost 10,000 Instagram followers, and the responsibility of keeping the content on those platforms relevant, informative, and professional lies with a team of two people. One member of that team, Kira, will join the session to speak about how her department utilises social media to engage and interact with students, and the wider group of stakeholders who are involved in the success of running an academic library.

The joining link will be circulated on the 12th June.
