Dawn Grundy- Knowledge and Library Service Lead.

I started Bolton Foundation Trust at the end of June 22. Some of you may be familiar with me as I have been very lucky to engage within the network already with previous roles and projects. I am passionate about libraries and learning and am very much looking forward to leading Knowledge and Library services within the Trust. My background is Higher Education Libraries and predominately supporting Healthcare students and staff within that sector. My professional interests are many! but two major ones are information and digital literacy. Outside work, I love to travel and exploring new places.

David Lord- Knowledge & Library Services Support Worker.

I’ve been a Knowledge and Library Support Worker at Bolton Foundation Trust since April 22 but I’ve worked in health libraries for over 20 years, mainly working for the Northern Care Alliance and then with the Manchester Foundation Trust. As a Knowledge and Library Support Worker I am the first point of contact when you come into the library, helping with a wide array of library queries, and where I get to meet all members of Bolton Foundation Trust. I’m also hoping to become a qualified Librarian, as this year I will start a Library and Management course at Ulster University.  

Paula Younger- Clinical Librarian/ Evidence & Knowledge Specialist.

I’ve been working in health libraries and information settings for over 20 years, mainly in the south west of England (although I grew up in Newcastle upon Tyne and am delighted to be back in the north of England). I’ve also worked for the MoD and in Higher Education. My interests include health literacy, how users find information, and health information in languages other than English. I’m looking forward to helping our users find the robust and up-to-date evidence they need, as well as to being part of what I already know is a lively and active group of fellow professionals in the region. Outside work I enjoy writing and photography and am always in search of the world's ultimate chocolate.
