Hello!
I’m Caitlynne and have recently replaced Liam as the full time librarian at the Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHSFT.

My original career path was to go into forensic pathology but over my course of working in university and public libraries as a library assistant for about 10 years, I realised I didn’t want to leave the field. I recently finished my Masters in Information and Library Services at Aberystwyth University. The option of Medical Librarian after that gave me the opportunity of combining my base of biology knowledge with what I learned for my MLIS. I am fairly new to the NHS and have worked for a year as an Embedded Outreach and Evidence Professional for Dorset Healthcare and University Hospitals Dorset. Over the course of that year, I attended MDTs, facilitated journal clubs, and supported events such as Recruitment days and wellbeing conferences. Experiences which will be brought over to my current position.
I am eager to grow in my position here at WUTH, meeting new people, and exploring my way around the NorthWest.
