Hello everyone, my name is Carly and I have recently joined the Library and Knowledge Services team at North Cumbria Integrated Care as a Library and Learning Technology Manager. The world of health libraries is completely new to me having previously worked in libraries and online resources in senior schools and colleges for the past 15 years. My team have made me feel very welcome and are very supportive and I feel extremely fortunate at the amount of learning and upskilling that is on offer.

A key part of my role is learning technology and as part of my remit I will be assisting library users with digital literacy, ensuring the technology in the Education Centre is up to date and always working for teaching purposes, day to day management, development and maintenance of the library management system and my next big project will be the migration from our current Library Management System to join the North East LMS.

I enjoy collaborating and learning and meeting new people and I look forward to meeting and working with you all.
