Hello everyone, my name is Opeyemi Soyemi and I have recently joined the Library and Knowledge Service team at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation as a Trainee Clinical Librarian. This is an exciting opportunity to learn, develop and deliver support to staff and learners in the hospital.

My previous role was as a Primary Care Knowledge Specialist Librarian for Derby and Derbyshire which was an excellent opportunity to explore, develop, promote, and deliver library and knowledge services to Primary Care staff and learners across Derbyshire. Also, I have previously worked as a Bank Knowledge Specialist in London and as a Lecturer in an overseas university.

In the past week of joining the team, they have made me feel welcome and have been very supportive.
