Hello everyone, my name is Tracey Garbarino. I have many years’ experience of working in school libraries from Carlisle, the Great Border City to Ho Chi Minh City. I am passionate about continuous learning, have a thirst for knowledge and am a firm believer in collaboration being the key to success.
My current role as Knowledge Support Officer for North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust has given me a great opportunity to develop professionally by broadening my knowledge and skills through the diversity offered in health libraries. I am also working part time as one of the new HEE funded Knowledge Specialists to provide support to Primary Care staff across the North East and North Cumbria ICS as part of the regional training hub. This will enable me to facilitate knowledge sharing opportunities to the wider workforce and take the Library service to many multi-professional teams across the whole care system.
I have been made to feel very welcome within the team here at NCIC and I look forward to continuing the contribution to evidence-based practice, supporting and championing a learning culture and generally spreading the joy of libraries.
