March 22nd was a pleasant spring day in Halifax, West Yorkshire, for the grand reopening of Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust’s library space.
Following a £60,000 refurbishment grant awarded by the Health Care Libraries Unit, North (HCLU) the library was opened by Owen Williams, Chief Executive, in the presence of a large number of staff and colleagues.
The new library space has been decorated in a warm and exciting yellow colour scheme with comfortable rest areas and study spaces, and a study pod. A large mural of a restful forest scene provides a focus on the far wall of the space.
