ELHT & BwD Libraries - working together to promote Health & Wellbeing

East Lancashire Hospital NHS Trust (ELHT) held their annual Health & Wellbeing event at Royal Blackburn Hospital on Wednesday 22nd May 2019. It’s an all-day event with lots of information stands and activities promoting services including Quit Squad -smoking cessation, electric bikes, Unison, and walking activities to name but a few. NHS/HE Meeting - Edge Hill University - 17 May 2019

There is a need for colleagues in NHS and Higher Education Library Knowledge Services (HE LKS) to maintain and develop links. HE students are the future staff members of the health service, with HE students taking clinical placements in Trusts served by NHS LKS. HCLU have held an annual meeting with colleges working in HELKS across the North West to provide them with an overview of the wider NHS and offer the opportunity for informal liaison at HEI LKS level.…
